Today, on the last trading day of the week i.e. Friday, the stock market opened on the green mark. Bombay Stock Exchange’s major index Sensex gained 36.41 points (0.08 per cent) to open at the level of 46926.75. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange Nifty started 0.09 percent (12.30 points) at 13753 level. The entire loss in the year 2020 has been recovered. It closed at 41,306.02 on January 1, 2020. However according to analysts, further market volatility will continue. Hence investors should be cautious.

When did the market break the record?
It is to be known that after reaching a low level in March, on October 8, the Sensex had crossed 40 thousand to 40,182. The Sensex then closed at 41,340 on November 5. On November 10, the index rose to 43,227 in intraday. It crossed 44180 on 18 November and 45000 on 4 December. On December 9, the Sensex closed at 46103.50 for the first time above 46 thousand. On December 14, the Sensex gained 154.45 points, or 0.34 per cent, to close at 46,253.46 and the Nifty gained 44.30 points or 0.33 per cent to its all-time high of 13558.15 points. On December 17, the Sensex-Nifty closed at the level of 46,658.36 and 13,683.10 respectively.

The stock market opened flat on the previous trading day. The Sensex opened at a low of 46,658.36, down marginally by 8.10 points (0.02 per cent). The Nifty started at the level of 13,683.10, up 0.40 points.

The stock market closed at the edge on Thursday. The Sensex-Nifty had reached an all-time high. The Sensex was up 223.88 points to end at 46890.34, up 0.48 percent. At the same time, the Nifty closed at the level of 13740.70 with a gain of 0.42 per cent (58 points).
