The technical experts from all over the country are busy brainstorming about the new design of the foundation of Ram temple. At the same time the construction of the retaining wall is going to start in a couple of days before starting the foundation work. By the time the foundation design is being finalized, the Trust has decided to start building retaining walls.

On the other hand, in the beginning of the work of the foundation of Ram temple, the map is still stuck and the work is delayed. In view of this, many laborers have been discharged. The same number of laborers are in the Ramjanmabhoomi complex as will be engaged in the construction of the retaining wall.

Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra said that the retaining wall will be started within a couple of days. Retaining walls will be built on three sides of the temple to keep the temple safe from earthquakes and other natural disasters.

Foreign funding will open only after FCRA
At the same time, the Trust has applied for Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). Only after getting its approval will the foreign funding avenues be opened and foreign devotees will be able to donate.

There are calls from foreign devotees coming to the trust office. Prakash Gupta, in-charge of the trust office, says that foreign funding is not happening due to lack of FCRA. According to the trust sources, more than one billion donations for Ram temple have been deposited in the account of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust. When an individual or an NGO in India receives donations from a foreign source, it has to follow the rules of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) i.e. Foreign Cooperation Regulation Act. The FCRA, 1976 was first implemented, but the year 2010 The new Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 2010 came into force from 1 May 2011.

Indian devotees settled abroad are eager to contribute for Ram temple. Confirming this, the international legend Acharya Laxman Das says that hundreds of his disciples are in Fiji, America, England, Australia, Germany and Canada who call and express their desire to donate for the Ram temple on the next day, but They are unable to find any link to donate, which makes them restless. Acharya Laxman Das himself has also donated one lakh 11 thousand. They say that as soon as FCR takes place there will be a competition for foreign funding.
