Vistara airline, a joint venture of the Tata group, has launched a new facility to provide better facilities to air travelers. Vistara said on Friday that passengers can now go directly to Google search and book tickets for its flight services.
Tickets can be booked on ‘Book on Google’
In this context, Vistara has issued a statement saying that passengers can now book tickets for travel in detail by going directly to ‘Book on Google’ using Google. Vinod Kannan, chief commercial officer of Vistaar said, “We sincerely hope that this new feature of Book on Google will give passengers a better experience of booking tickets without any hassle.”
The airline said that this new feature was made possible through technology partnership with Amadeus.
Ban on international flights till 31 December
The Vande Bharat Mission was launched to bring back stranded passengers abroad and air bubble agreements were also inked with many countries. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has extended the ban on the movement of scheduled international commercial flights in India to 31 December due to the Corona virus epidemic. But during this time flights going under the Vanda Bharat Mission will continue. Earlier international flights were banned till 30 November. As per DGCA order, only selected flights will be allowed to operate.
