At the same time, a tribute meeting will be organized on 20 December in honor of the martyred farmers.

Farmers of Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana, including western Uttar Pradesh, have been busy at the UP gate for twenty days in protest against the agricultural law. On 14 December, the Khap panchayats in Soram village of Muzaffarnagar announced their support for the peasant movement against the agricultural law and decided to march to UP Gate on 17 December. Naqi Tikait, the national president of Bhakiyu, will lead Balian Khap. Similarly, the chiefs of Khap Panchayats like Rathi, Tomar, Ahlawat, Lathian etc. will also leave for UP Gate early in the morning with their respective farmers.

It is believed that farmers will reach the UP gate in more than 80 tractor-trolleys and trains. During this time more than seven to eight thousand farmers are expected to gather at UP Gate. There is also a lot of enthusiasm among the farmers gathered at UP Gate regarding Khap Panchayat. On Wednesday, Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of Bhakiyu, said that a large number of farmers are coming to UP Gate daily. Thousands of farmers of Khap Panchayat will reach here on Thursday. After this, there will be a panchayat here and farmers will formulate further strategies.

Farmers are being stopped near Dasna, Eastern Peripheral Express, Garh etc. He said that the farmers have been told to start a sit-in demonstration wherever the police stopped them. He says that the government does not want the panchayat of farmers to succeed. Therefore farmers are being stopped.

The officers of the intelligence agency in plain uniform are among the farmers who are collecting information about the panchayat from moment to moment. According to intelligence agency officials, between one and a half to two thousand farmers have gathered at the UP gate. Officials are also collecting information about how many farmers can gather on Thursday.

Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of BKU, said that if the Supreme Court has come between the farmers and the government, then something should happen now. There is no one bigger than the court. The country has a constitution, a Supreme Court, a clause and a system. Everyone should walk in it. Now the Supreme Court has asked to form a committee, then all the issues will be put on behalf of the farmers before the people who will be there.

Rakesh Tikait said that the things that will come up during the court hearing on Thursday will be considered. If a committee is formed then all the main things will be kept in it. He said that the farmers are constantly demanding the repeal of the Agricultural Laws and enacting a law on MSP. For this, the farmers are ready to hold talks with the government. So far all the talks have been held in the meetings, all these things will also be kept in the committee. He said that the farmer of western Uttar Pradesh is sitting on the border here but the government is reaching the village to have a panchayat and press conference.

VM Singh made his platform at UP Gate

President of Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan VM Singh made his separate platform at UP Gate on Wednesday. Addressing the farmers, he said that the government should enact a law for purchase guarantee on the MSP. If this law is made then the existence of new agricultural laws will automatically cease. He said that till the demands are not met, he will stand with the farmers at the UP gate.

VM Singh reached UP Gate on Wednesday afternoon. He got his platform ready at UUP Gate towards Hindon Canal. Then addressing the farmers, he said that all the farmers have the same goal. The fight for the last time is to fight against the black law of the government. He said that the government will have to enact a law of purchase guarantee on the MSP. He has been fighting for this for years. By enacting a law on MSP, the government will incur losses, not the government.

Asked why he created a separate platform, he said that two days ago the United Kisan Morcha distanced him. In such a situation, if we do not come on dharna, the farmers would ask where did VM Singh go. He said that to continue his fight, despite his ill health, he has come here to sit. There are a large number of farmers with them who will stand till the end. All farmers have the same goal. He said that why we needed to create a separate platform, this question should be asked by those who have sidelined us. On the other hand, when asked about this, Rakesh Tikait, national spokesperson of Bhakiyu expressed ignorance. Though he said that VM Singh may be angry but all farmers are unanimous and united on withdrawal of the agricultural law.
