On Monday, 1376 new cases were reported in Delhi which is the lowest in the last three and a half months and the death toll has gone up to 10,074 with 60 deaths due to infection. This shows that the situation has improved after the third phase in Delhi in November.
On November 11, 8593 cases were reported in a single day. On November 18, 7486 new cases were reported and 133 people died, which is still the highest number of deaths in a day. On December 13, 33 people died of infection, the lowest since September 21. On September 21, 32 people died. On Sunday, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said on social media that the lowest mortality rate in the capital was 1.6 per cent, while it was four in Ahmedabad, 3.8 in Mumbai, two in Kolkata and 1.8 in Chennai. On the decline in the rate of infection, Jain said that the national capital is emerging as the winner in the fight against the corona virus. Apart from this, the number of active patients undergoing treatment for corona infection in Delhi was 15247, which was 16785 till the day before.
A senior doctor at Loknayak Hospital says that doctors and government officials have worked together to bring the situation under control in the state. Things are looking better now than in June, September and November. According to the data, there is also a decrease in infected patients present in home isolation. On December 13, it was reduced to 10 thousand. This is an indication of improvement in the status of Kovid-19.
