New Delhi, 16 December (Language) During the hearing on a petition filed for the removal of farmers protesting on the borders of Delhi, the Supreme Court repeatedly urged senior advocate Harish Salve to allow some ‘legal points’. Expressed unhappiness on Wednesday on leaving. A bench of Chief Justice SA Bobde, Justice AS Bopanna and Justice V Ramasubramanian told the Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Center, that Salve could join the proceedings on Thursday, when the case would be heard again. The matter came to light when Mehta told the bench that he had received a message from Salve that his link should be opened to join the proceedings. Mehta said, “I have received a message from Harish Salve and he is requesting to start the sound system.” The bench remarked, “The court master is telling us that no Advocate on Record has told him That Salve is appearing in the listed cases today. “On reiterating this request, the bench said that Salve will be heard tomorrow. In the last moments of the hearing, when Mehta once again made the same request and said that he was just sending a message to the court, the bench turned back and said, “Don’t act like a messenger, you are the Solicitor General of the country.” The Court issued notices to the Center and others during the hearing on the petitions filed to remove the farmers who had blocked the boundaries of Delhi during the Kisan Movement, indicating that a committee could be set up to resolve the dispute.
