Notification has been issued by the Ministry of Road Transport to install a separate device for additional safety in private and commercial vehicles. The government has sought suggestions and objections from the people in this matter.

After this decision of the government, now the problem of jamming of doors during the accident in the car will be solved. Actually, the electric system of vehicles gets damaged during a road accident or fire, due to which the doors of the vehicle are locked. This increases the risk of burning people inside the vehicle. To overcome this problem, a provision has been made in the draft by the government to open manual doors in vehicles.

Earlier, the Modi government has set a ceiling to increase the rent on demand increase (peak hour) of cab companies. That is, now with this new decision of the central government, cab companies like Ola and Uber will not be able to charge you arbitrary fare in peak hours. According to the Automotive Aggregator Guidelines 2020 issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, now aggregator companies can charge only up to one-and-a-half times the original fare. At the same time, companies have been allowed to charge a minimum fare of up to 50 per cent of the original rent.

According to the Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines 2020 issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, now the driver of the vehicle will get at least 80% of the fare charged from each ride.
