The efficacy of Russia’s corona virus vaccine Sputnik V has been reported to be 91.4 percent. The company gave this information in a statement released on Monday. The statement said that this data is based on the final control point analysis of the data 21 days after the first dose of the vaccine.

Singapore has approved the vaccine for Kovid-19 developed by American pharmaceutical company Pfizer and German company BioNotech. The Prime Minister of the country, Li Shen Long, announced this on Monday and said that the first batch of vaccines will be received by the end of this month.

Regarding the status of Kovid-19 in Singapore, Prime Minister Li Shen Long said in a televised message that the Health Department authority approved the Pfizer-BioNotech vaccine after studying scientific evidence and clinical trial data.

According to Channel News Asia, Lee also stated that other vaccines are also expected to come up in the coming months to prevent the epidemic and if everything goes according to plan, the country will have enough vaccines for all by the third quarter of next year.

Prime Minister Lee said, “Everyone who wants to get vaccinated should get it by the end of next year.” Along with this, he announced that all the citizens of the country will be given free dose of Corona virus vaccine.

He said that the Ministry of Health has constituted a committee of physicians and experts who will make suggestions about the vaccination strategy. Lee also stated that the panel has also proposed that the entire adult population should be vaccinated, although it should be kept voluntary.
