Union Minister Piyush Goyal said on Saturday that the central government is ready for 24 hours to discuss with the farmers. The Union Minister said that if the opposition to the farmers is truly without the influence of Maoists and Naxalites, then our farmer brothers will surely understand that the agricultural laws are in the interest of their country and the country. Even after this, if they have any doubt, the doors of the central government are open for talks with them.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal said, I believe that most of the farmers are standing with the agricultural law, some of them had some reservation. Dropping out after discussion at one point is not the solution to this protest, thus leaving the dialogue in the middle indicates that the movement has gone out of their hands.

Haryana farmers came in support

Progressive farmer leaders of Haryana met Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Saturday. Narendra Singh Tomar tweeted, “Progressive farmer leaders of Haryana met me. During this time the farmers submitted a memorandum with their signature supporting the three agricultural laws. He also shared his experiences of how these laws are benefiting him.
