Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the bridge between Patna and Ara parallel to Koilwar bridge through video conferencing. CM Nitish Kumar, Union Energy Minister RK Singh, Union State Health Minister Ashwani Choubey and Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad were present in this inauguration ceremony organized through video conferencing. Please tell that Nitin Gadkari has the Ministry of Road Family and Highways, as well as the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. In this video conference, Nitin Gadkari while referring to MSME said that ethanol factory should be opened in Bihar. The central government has approved making ethanol from rice and maize along with sugarcane.

Economy will be two lakh crores

He said that rice is rich in the country. We can feed rice to the whole world. So we should make ethanol from rice. By doing this, ethanol business of two lakh crores can be done in the country. The Bihar government set up 100 new factories in the state. For this, the central government will help by giving money. Ethanol produced in the country will be consumed in petrol diesel, so we will have to import less oil from outside. At the same time new employment opportunities will also be created. Which will also end poverty and hunger. The central government is also ready to give loans to the state for setting up these factories. Also, whatever the ethanol is produced, the central government will buy it. Now, ethanol pumps have opened in many places and ethanol vehicles have also been launched.

UPA government did not approve

On this consultation by Nitin Gadkari, CM Nitish Kumar said that I wanted to work on it in my first term, then an investment of 22 thousand crores was also being received, but the then UPA government did not approve at that time. Today I am happy that the Central Government has paid attention to this and the Union Minister is asking to move in the direction of Ethanol. The work which I could not do in my first term, I will complete it in the fourth term. This will boost employment and industry.
