BJP’s media department in-charge Anil Baluni said in a statement that Nadda will participate in various programs to strengthen the party’s base in West Bengal. Nadda is undertaking a 120-day nationwide tour to strengthen the BJP organization. He started it on December 4 from Uttarakhand.
During his two-day visit, Nadda will inaugurate the party’s election office in Hastings, Kolkata and party offices in nine districts. Nadda will also meet people from different sections of society as part of the “R Noy Onayya” (and not atrocities) campaign. The BJP president will also meet representatives of slum dwellers and discuss their problems with them.
The BJP has formed a 117-member election management team for the upcoming assembly elections. These teams are divided into 31 units. Apart from this, senior party leaders and ministers have been deputed to work in the state. On December 10, the BJP president will hold a press conference and address party workers from 24 eastern parganas.
