It is believed that by the evening the results will be revealed. This time too, the contest is mainly between the BJP and the Congress. After the elections in Hyderabad, all eyes are also on this election. According to the Election Commission, ballot papers will be counted first and EVMs will be opened after that. Results are expected before 11 pm.
State Election Commission spokesman said that 1778 candidates for 636 Zilla Parishad members and 12663 candidates for 4371 Panchayat Samiti members are in the fray. It is noteworthy that for the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members, voting was held in four phases on November 23, November 27, December 1 and December 5.
This election result will make it clear which party has a strong hold in rural areas of Rajasthan. The BJP has been continuously accused by the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan that it is engaged in the exercise of toppling the government. In such a situation, whichever party wins, its voice will be elevated in the state.
On the other hand, the process of election of panchayat samiti pradhan and district head will begin after the election results come by this evening. The Congress and the BJP have started preparations for making more and more heads and district heads. The command in Congress is in the hands of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and State Congress Committee President Govind Singh Dotasara. At the same time, BJP has appointed senior leaders in the districts.
