A few days ago, Kavaljit Singh, a farmer from village Habuana, who had returned to participate in the Delhi movement to repeal three agricultural laws, was killed. The cause of death was stated to be a heart attack. While getting off the bus and heading towards the dharna site, the farmer had a sudden attack and fell down. Due to which the farmer suffered head injury. He was rushed to the civil hospital in Dabwali. He was referred to Sirsa after first aid. Where the doctor declared him dead. Police station in-charge Daleram said that police have registered a case of incident on the statement of Kulvindra Singh, brother of the deceased.
Punjab farmer Surinder Singh (50), who was going to take part in the struggle of farmers’ organizations in protest against farming laws in Delhi, was killed in a road accident in Sonepat. Surinder Singh was going to Delhi with about 12 farmers on his tractor-trolley. Near Sonepat he was standing on the tractor-trolley side and crossing the road for some work. During this time, a vehicle hit Surinder Singh, due to which Surinder Singh died on the spot.
