The Union Health Ministry has given a big update on the Covid-19 vaccine to deal with the Corona Pandemic in India. Health Ministry Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said on Tuesday that once we get the green signal from our scientists, we will start production of Covid-19 vaccine on a large scale. We have made complete preparations. A framework has been developed to increase the production of vaccine and we are working to make the vaccine available to everyone in the shortest possible time. Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry also said that some of the vaccine candidates may get a license in the next few weeks.
Union Health Ministry Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that three vaccines are in pre-clinical stage and 6 vaccines are in clinical trial. These are 2-3 dose vaccine, most are 2 dose vaccine. The distance between each dose is 3-4 weeks. The Secretary of the Union Health Ministry said that some of the vaccine candidates may get a license in the next few weeks.

Health workers recommended priority in vaccination
The ministry said that NEGVAC recommended that one crore health workers should be given priority in Covid-19 vaccination. The Ministry of Health said that under the Universal Immunization Program, 2.38 lakh ANMs take part in vaccination, 1.54 lakh ANMs will be used for Covid-19 vaccination.
