Former Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Keshav Singh has registered a case against the party’s national president Chirag Paswan. They have accused him of having links with the Maoists. Keshav Singh also claimed that he was threatened by Chirag Paswan through one of his associates.

Keshav lodged an FIR against Chirag at Shastri Nagar Police Station in Patna on Sunday. In his complaint, Keshav Singh alleged that during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Chirag Paswan enlisted the help of Maoists to win the Jamui Lok Sabha seat.

Singh has also alleged that a few days ago, while he was in Kishanganj, he received a threatening call from a person named Amar Azad. He claimed that the person threatening is close to Chirag. Please tell that Singh was the state general secretary of LJP. He was thrown out when he claimed that there would be a big split in the party in January.

While controlling the damage, Chirag expelled him from the party. Keshav said, “There has been no internal democracy in LJP. The voice of LJP MPs and MLAs is also not being heard in the party. Every decision in the party is being taken unilaterally. I received a threatening call two days ago to speak against the party.

The LJP, on the other hand, has dismissed the allegations against Chirag Paswan and termed them baseless. LJP leader Kallu Singh said, ‘Keshav Singh wants to get media headlines and hence is blaming Chirag Paswan. Our party rejects the allegations leveled by Keshav Singh and we will file a defamation suit against him.

LJP expelled Keshav Singh for six years due to anti-party activities and also suspended his primary membership. After being expelled from the party, Singh had said on Saturday that Chirag shattered the dreams of the late Ram Vilas Paswan and kept the RJD strong by expelling such dedicated activists from the party. At the same time, Keshav Singh claimed that soon four party MPs and a large number of other leaders are going together to set up the LJP (Ram Vilas faction).
