The PMO said in a statement that IMC 2020 is being organized by the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). It will be held from 8 to 10 December 2020.

The statement said that the Prime Minister will address IMC 2020 on December 8 at 10.45 am. It aims to accelerate foreign and local investment, encourage research and development in the field of telecommunications and emerging technology sectors.
Explain that the theme of India Mobile Congress 2020 is ‘overall exploration – smart, safe, sustainable’. The purpose of its event is to encourage Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Self-reliant India’, ‘Digital inclusion’ and ‘Sustainable development, enterprise and exploration’.
IMC 2020 will include people from various ministries, CEOs of telecom companies, global CEOs, 5G domain experts, AI, Internet of Things, data analytics, cloud and edge computing, blockchain, cyber security, smart cities and automation.
