According to the data released by the Health Ministry at 8 am, the number of infected people has increased to 95,71,559 with 36,595 new cases of infection reported in the country. At the same time, after the death of 540 more people, the number of dead has increased to 1,39,188.

So far 90,16,289 people have become infection free in the country and the national rate of recovery has increased to 94.20 percent. The death rate is 1.45 percent. According to the data, 4,16,082 patients are currently being treated in the country, which is 4.35 percent of the total cases.
