Imran ‘bargains’ birds of Pakistan’s shelter
Pakistani newspaper Dawn quoted sources as saying that apart from Prince Mohammed bin Salman, two other people who have been allowed to hunt for Hubrao are also a fugitive. Members of this fugitive Saudi royal family did not pay fees even after hunting in Pakistan last year. It is being told that all these three people have been given special areas for hunting in Balochistan and Punjab. Saudi Prince’s name is at the bottom of this list of poachers, who are now the real kings of Saudi Arabia. Hubrao birds found in Central Asian countries take refuge in Pakistan to escape the severe cold, and now the Imran government has once again made a deal with the Saudi Prince to kill the lives of these innocent people.
Imran had protested before becoming PM, now allowed
The Imran Khan government has invited hunters from Arab countries to hunt. The number of Hubara birds is decreasing very rapidly and hunting is prohibited not only in the world but also in Pakistan. According to sources, when Imran Khan was not in power, he was opposed to allowing hunting of Hubarao birds and did not allow hunting in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where his party ruled. However, now Imran Khan has reversed his decision and has allowed the Saudi Prince to hunt the Hubrao birds. Dawn said that Prince Fahd bin Sultan, the governor of Tabuk province, has also been granted permission.
Imran government will fill the treasury with the killing of innocents
Prince Fahd had hunted 2000 Hubaro birds a few years ago and made headlines in media around the world. Not only this, Prince Fahd did not pay the fees of one lakh dollars required for hunting of Hubrao birds last year. Not only this, Prince Fahd did not pay the fee of 60 thousand dollars required for the use of 60 eagles last year. After the hunt for Hubrao, Prince Fahd went back to Saudi Arabia without paying a fee. Prince Fahd’s Dadagiri’s Alam is that he hunted 2000 Hubaro birds, while he was allowed to hunt only 100 birds. The Balochistan province of Pakistan earns at least 2 billion rupees in each hunting season.
The Pride of Saudi Arabia’s Princes in Pakistan
Earlier in 2014, a Pakistani court banned the eagle export and hunting of Hubrau, its relationship with Saudi Arabia and the UAE went into abyss. After heavy tension, the Pakistan government bowed down. The Hubarao or Tilor bird is shy but extremely beautiful and looks like a turkey bird in shape. For more than four decades, Pakistan has been inviting high officials of Arab countries for hunting with the help of hawk. The Imran government has given this permission to the Saudi Prince at a time when Saudi Arabia has asked for the remaining 2 billion dollars back, while the UAE has banned visas to Pakistanis. A large number of Pakistani citizens live in the UAE and send money. Earlier, the Imran Khan government had allowed 150 rare eagles to be exported to the UAE Vice President and the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
