After this interaction with the Bharatiya Kisan Union at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi, Tomar said that it would be ensured that the trade in private mandis was not carried out only on the PAN. The Union Agriculture Minister also said that it will also be ensured that registration of traders is done compulsorily.
Agriculture Minister Tomar said that the support price system will remain, there will be no tampering of any kind. He said that there was talk of going to the SDM court first in the event of a dispute. However, considering the demand of farmers, it is being considered to take it directly to the court.
