‘Duare-Duare West Bongo Government’
The name of this campaign is ‘Duare-Duare Paschim Bongo Sarkar’ (Government of Bengal at every doorway). Under this campaign, the policies, plans and development works initiated by the government in the last ten years will be passed on to the people of the state and their grievances will be heard. A senior state government official said that under the ‘Duare Sarkar’ campaign, about a dozen government programs and its beneficiaries or complaints related to them will be heard.
Four camps will be organized in every village
Under this campaign, every village and civic body in 344 blocks of the state will have at least four camps from December 1 to January 29. People will be allowed to come to these camps and during this time government officials will help them to use government facilities including MNREGA, job cards, health cards, caste certificates.
The Mamta government has already instructed the district collectors to insist on Bangla aid centers. A senior official said that the state government has deployed more than 6,800 people in 3,400 centers, which will help people with government facilities.
BJP asked, is the government campaign or party?
The main opposition party BJP has criticized the state government’s campaign and called it an election stunt. He said that it is a government program or a contact campaign started by TMC before the election.
