Sharma reiterated that no candidate has been denied election. PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, being the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, needs to follow the security protocol while exiting the house. There is adequate security at all polling stations. Hope is that people will come out of the house to cast a large number of votes without any fear.

The candidates of the latter phase are advised to inform the police before going for election campaign so that their security arrangements can be made. He said that some candidates have been elected unopposed and they will soon be allowed to go to their respective homes under proper security cover.
– Mehboob can promote with protocol
