A religious gathering was held at Dera Baba Nanak, Punjab on the 551st Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru of Sikhs. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who arrived at the Samagam, attacked the politics of polarization being done by the BJP without naming it.
The Captain asked the BJP why he was bent on breaking the age-old brotherhood for a few votes. If people of all religions living in the country gather, then the strength will increase.
Capt Amarinder Singh said that China and Pakistan have become a big challenge for the country at this time. There is no day when there is no young martyr in Pakistani firing. In the battle with China, a Sikh jawan of Punjab, Gurtej Singh, died of martyrdom by killing 12 unarmed Chinese soldiers. It is the duty of the state government not to let the sacrifices of the martyrs go in vain. The central government is plotting to divide the religions which is wrong.
CM said that what is happening to farmers in Delhi is getting very bad. If the farmers do not agree with the farming laws, then how is the Center insisting on implementing these laws. The Captain said that there has been a relationship between the farmers and the middle class for 100 years. The central government wants to break it. The farmers who are agitating in Delhi only know that this law does not connect with their children’s future. His government is with the farmers.
Captain said, I am lucky to have got the opportunity to celebrate the centenary day of Guru Sahiban
Capt Amarinder Singh said that he was lucky to have the opportunity to celebrate the centenary day of Guru Sahiban in life. When he was the Chief Minister in 2002, his government organized celebrations on the 350th Prakash Parv of the tenth father Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The 400th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Granth Sahib was also celebrated by his government. He also got the privilege of organizing the program of 550th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Now his government will also organize the 400th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
Earlier, Captain Amarinder Singh along with his wife and MP Parneet Kaur marched to the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib of Dera Baba Nanak and then to the main pandal of the Samagam held at Dana Mandi.
In the 63 villages and 14 towns visited by Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, 77 million of those areas were developed and dedicated to the project people. Apart from this, the CM laid the foundation stone of Gurunanak Dev Ganna Khoj, Development Society Kalanaur, Baba Banda Bahadur Ajayib Ghar and Ghanta Ghar to be built on 100 acres.
