An average of 700-800 buses ply daily from the Anand Vihar bus base to the cities of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The number of passengers is also high in this. An average of 600-700 buses ply daily from Kashmiri Gate, while it is just around 200 at Sarai Kale Khan.
Out of 43 thousand, 231 passengers tested positive in Corona
A corona check of 10,593 passengers was conducted at the Kashmiri Gate from November 5 to November 23. There were 60 positive cases. During the investigation of 26406 passengers at the Anand Vihar bus base, 142 positive cases were found, while in Sarai Kale Khan, out of 5300 passengers, only 29 positive cases were found. In the investigation of 42299 passengers at all three bus bases during the 19 days, 231 positives were found.
Maximum 35 positives on 8 November
There were four positive cases at Kashmiri Gate, 25 at Anand Vihar, while six positive cases were filed at Sarai Kale Khan. More passengers were also checked on this day. In 19 days, not a single passenger turned out positive at Sarai Kale Khan for eight days, while three days at Kashmiri Gate and two days at Anand Vihar, no positive came. Positive cases have been declining since November 11, while the RTPCR test number at all bus bases has already been increased in view of the current situation. In this regard, doctors say that more investigation is being done on Anand Vihar, so positive cases are more.
