Chief Minister Shivraj Singh said, money will be spent in uplifting gaushalas
Shivraj referring to Indian culture said, we used to feed the first roti to the cow. This is how we used to feed the last loaf to the dog. In our culture, animals were worried, which is now going extinct. So we want small amount of tax from the public for cows. A law will soon be introduced for the operation of cowsheds in the state. Earlier, Shivraj presided over the first meeting of the Gau cabinet. During this, he made several important announcements. Shivraj announced the promotion of a cow-based economy and the opening of a research center in the Agar Malwa region.
Council of Ministers Council for Cows
The CM said, a council committee of ministers will be formed to protect the cows in the state. The ministers and principal secretaries of the departments related to animals will be part of this committee, which will look after the conservation and promotion of cows. This cannot be done only by the Animal Husbandry Department. Godhan will be used to make the state self-sufficient.
Work will be started by taking suggestions from the authorities on how to make better use of cow dung and cow urine. Earlier in the day, Shivraj fed pudding bread to cows at his residence in Bhopal on the occasion of Gopashtami and wished Gopashtami to all.
