According to sources, Rauf had selected four jihadis from the Shakargarh camp in Jaish, Pakistan, near the Indian border. Another terrorist Qazi Tarar was also entrusted with Asghar to the Jaish to plan a terrorist attack.
Sources said a meeting was also held at the Jaish headquarters in Bahawalpur and included Abdul Rauf Asghar, Qazi Tarar and ISI officials including Jaul’s terror network Maulana Abu Jundal and Mufti Tausif.

Encounter started after truck driver tried to escape
When the truck carrying the terrorists was stopped at around 4.50 am on Thursday morning, the driver got scared and started running after jumping. The police team was fired from inside the truck and then in retaliation, four Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists were killed. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition including 11 AK-47 rifles and 3 pistols have been recovered from them. Each terrorist was carrying at least 3 AK-47 rifles.
