Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a meeting with officials of the Ministry of Health regarding the Corona vaccine. During this time he reviewed India’s vaccination strategy and how to proceed. In addition they discussed issues related to the progress of vaccine development, regulatory approvals and procurement.

At the same time, PM Modi reviewed various issues like adding vaccine and technology platforms for vaccination rollout, accessing HCW, priority of population groups for cold chain infrastructure growth. Officials of PMO, NITI Aayog, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Health and Science and Technology were present in this review meeting of PM Modi.

Actually, corona cases are increasing in the country. In the last 24 hours, 45,882 people have been affected by the virus. At the same time, the number of infected in the country has crossed 90 lakh. However, it is a matter of relief that the number of infection-free patients has exceeded 84 lakhs.

According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 45,882 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 584 people have lost their lives due to the virus. The total number of infections in the country is 90,04,366.
