The administration has started preparations for Parikrama and Kartik Purnima fair. Route to Ayodhya will be diverted to other districts today. People outside will not be allowed to come to Ayodhya. These instructions were given in the review meeting of the commissioner and IG on Thursday.

In the second phase of the meeting under the chairmanship of Commissioner MP Agarwal, Inspector-General of Police reviewed law and order with the Director General of Police, District Magistrate of all the districts of Mandal, Senior Superintendent of Police and officials of Revenue Department. In this, following the Kovid protocol, instructions were given to expedite the disposal of promises and to celebrate other traditional festivals.

The commissioner said that in view of the Parikrama fair, traffic diversion should be done and the national highway should be allowed to run completely. Outsiders do not come and follow the Kovid protocol. The locals were asked to take necessary action to celebrate the festival locally.

Inspector General of Police, Dr. Sanjeev Gupta said that from today, route diversion should be done in Ayodhya and other districts should be diversified from 20 November. People outside should not be allowed to come to Ayodhya. More crowds congregate at Ayodhya’s Raunahi toll plaza. Let there be no rush here.

District Magistrate Anuj Kumar Jha said that according to the instructions of the government, it has been decided in the past that outsiders should not come to Ayodhya unnecessarily and celebrate the festival etc. in their homes, following the protocol of Kovid-19. To celebrate the festival of Chhath etc. in the same way, cleanliness will be done from the Municipal Corporation. Police and magistrate officers will be posted.
