According to the Health Bulletin released by the Health Department, the total number of infected people has increased to 5,17,238. Of these, 4,68,143 have recovered. A total of 8159 people have died so far. The death rate has increased to 1.58 percent and the infection rate to 9.05%. There are 40,936 active patients of infection in Delhi. Of these, 24,042 patients are being treated at home.
There are 9494 patients admitted to hospitals. At the same time, 584 patients are admitted in the Covid Care Center and 211 in the Health Center. A total of 62425 samples were examined on Friday. It had 23507 RT-PCR probes and 38918 antigen probes. This day’s infection rate was down to 10.59%. So far 5717716 people have been screened. More than 3 lakh people are being tested per 10 lakh population. The number of containment zones has increased to 4560.
