Giving this information, Additional Chief Secretary Excise Sanjay R. For this, this campaign is being carried out so that illegal and raw liquor in any form is not manufactured and sold.

Bhusreddy said that necessary guidelines have been issued in this regard in all the districts. He informed that for this campaign, the police department will also cooperate with the Excise Department’s team at the district level as per the requirement so that in every case, effective ban can be made on the manufacture, sale and transport of illegal raw liquor.

Additional Chief Secretary directed that joint teams of Police, Administration and Excise should be formed through the District Magistrate and these teams should be supported by enforcement units as required. These teams should raid the infamous bases of illicit liquor and narcotics and destroy the illegal businesses and ensure action against the accused in the harshest sections of the IPC and other acts.
