The suspected terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad, arrested by Delhi Police, Abdul Latif Mir and Mo. Ashraf Khatana Deoband, have taken training in UP to conduct weapons and make explosives etc. However, initial investigation revealed that they were going to Deoband to take training. During questioning, both of them said that they had stayed for many days at many places including Deoband. Four more youths from Jammu and Kashmir wanted to accompany him to Pakistan. Last month too, he tried to go to Pakistan from Jammu Kashmir border. Preparations were being made to send these youths to Pakistan via Bangladesh.

A senior officer of the Special Cell of Delhi Police said that both the suspected terrorists arrested had come to Delhi from Jammu Kashmir on November 6 and had gone to Deoband, UP from here. There, he took training in making weapons and explosives. Apart from Deoband, there were many places in UP. In Delhi, he would get a person from UP, who was in contact with Jaish’s bosses in Pakistan. He would take them to the Bangladesh border via UP. The person is currently on the Bangladesh border.

The jihadi youths told in interrogation that four more youths from Jammu and Kashmir were to come to Delhi to go to Pakistan. These four youths sent Abdul Latif and Mo. Ashraf Khatana to make preparations. The jihadi youths have also revealed in interrogation that all the youth going to Pakistan were jihadis against the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.
