Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called an all-party meeting on Thursday in view of rising cases of Corona virus in the country’s capital Delhi. At the meeting, all political parties decided to work together on Corona, rising above political interest. The BJP and the Congress Party also gave their suggestions to the Chief Minister, but all parties once again withdrew from the meeting in a political mood and accused the Kejriwal government of being unable to deal with Corona.
The BJP also criticized the decision to increase the fine from Rs 500 to Rs 2000 for not wearing a mask. On the matter of Chhath, there was a clear political tug in the government and opposition parties. On the one hand, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made it clear that there will not be any exemption on Chhath, while on the other hand BJP has said that the Delhi government should allow it in view of the importance of Chhath. The court should also appeal for this.
BJP’s charge, Delhi government fails to overcome corona
On behalf of the BJP, State President Adesh Gupta said that the Delhi government’s strategy to deal with Corona cases has proved absolutely ineffective. When Corona cases are declining across the country, it is steadily increasing in Delhi. Compared to the whole country, more people are dying in the capital. He said that the Delhi government should understand its responsibility.
Adesh Gupta said that there are millions of people in Delhi who do not even earn 200 rupees a day. They do not even have the money to buy masks. If such people are caught without a mask, how will they pay the fine. He said that the Delhi BJP campaign will distribute free masks to the poor people, so that people can save themselves and their families from Corona.
Delhi Congress President Chaudhary Anil Singh raised the issue of Corona investigation in the meeting. He said that the way corona cases are increasing in Delhi, very poor people are also falling for it. But due to the high cost of corona examination, most people are not getting proper treatment. At government centers where corona investigations are free, people are also avoiding going due to overcrowding.
Chaudhary Anil Kumar said that the number of corona inquiries in Delhi should be increased to two lakhs per day. This should include RT-PCR test, antigen test and Feluda test. Chaudhary said that the Delhi government has so far failed to curb the corona.
Will fight with full force
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also visited a hospital on Thursday and directed to increase ICU beds. Apart from this, instructions have been given to strict action against those who do not wear masks. Kejriwal said that arrangements are still complete in Delhi and there is nothing to worry about.
He said that the shortage of ICU beds was definitely a cause for concern, but the Center and Delhi Government are working together to fill this gap and soon more than thousand ICU beds will be added to the total beds. Once again he requested the public to wear masks and maintain physical distance to defeat Corona.
The indigenous CRISPI is based on gene-editing technology. This technique is helpful in identifying the genetic symptoms of corona virus. This test gives the same results as the RTPCR test. Till now RTPCR is considered to be effective in the test of Kovid-19 all over the world. Now Feluda has emerged as an option, which is very cheap as well as giving quick results.
