Phase III trials of the corona vaccine in Haryana will begin on November 20. Information about this has been tweeted by Haryana Home Minister and Health Minister Anil Vij. He tweeted, ‘I have offered Bharat Biotech as the first volunteer to get myself vaccinated in covicin test.’

Patients can also be involved in the third phase
Let us know that in 20 research centers across the country, 25,800 volunteers will be given dose of covicin. PGIMS Rohtak, one of the 20 centers, is also ready to offer this dose to its volunteers. Dr. Ramesh Verma, Co-Investigate of Covaxine Research, said that permission has been given to start the third phase. In this phase, apart from health workers, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians, patients of controlled sugar, BP, heart, asthma can also get vaccinated.

In the first phase, the institute has given doses of covaccine to 375 volunteers and 380 volunteers in the second phase. Now in the third phase, 25,800 volunteers will be given this dose. It will be started as soon as the vaccine arrives. Principal Investigator of this research, Dr. Savita Verma, Co-Investigator Dr. Dhruv Chaudhary and Dr. PS Gill are also with him.

No volunteer has got a problem so far
Dr. Ramesh Verma said that all the volunteers who have been given doses of covaxine in two phases have not yet had any side effects. Not only this, there is no report of any volunteer getting corona infected. In such a situation, there has been increased hope that this vaccine will help protect the survivors of this virus.
