The two Bangladeshi nationals Iqbal and Farrukh arrested by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) were living in village Simbhalki Junardar along with their families.

Iqbal’s wife Ruby says that the two brothers were working at the BSP MP’s meat factory. It has been said on behalf of the BSP MP that persons of these names do not work in their factory.

The ATS had given the local address of Bangladeshi nationals Iqbal and Farukh after the arrest, near the Bilal Mosque in Kamela Colony. His Aadhar card and other certificates were made at the same address, which have been recovered.

While investigating, it was found that Iqbal and Farooq had been living in the village Simbhalki Junardar on Janata Road for many years. Iqbal’s wife Ruby is living there with children.

When the Amar Ujala team reached Simbhalki Junardar and talked to Ruby, she told that she had been living in a rented house in Saharanpur for about 15 years. He first stayed in Kamela Colony, then moved here. Here her husband Iqbal and brother-in-law Farooq worked in the meat factory of BSP MP Fazlur Rahman. He is accompanied by three children in the family, eight-year-old Mizanu Rahman, four-year-old Rukhsar and two-year-old Arhaan.

Ruby said that the police had taken him to the police station and also questioned him. Syed Hassan, the PRO of BSP MP Haji Fazlur Rahman, says that Iqbal and no one named Farooq work in the MP’s meat factory.
