High Level Central Teams Deputed to Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Manipur for Coronavirus – Covid-19: Central teams to visit Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Manipur

The Union Health Ministry said on Thursday that high-level central parties have been deployed for Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Manipur. Keeping in view the rise in daily cases of corona virus and daily deaths in the capital Delhi, the situation is being monitored in NCR areas of Haryana and Rajasthan where cases of Kovid are increasing.

Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS Delhi will lead the three-member team for Haryana. NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul Rajasthan, National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) Director Dr. SK Singh will lead the team of Gujarat and Additional Deputy Director General of Health Services, Dr. L Swastikaran Manipur.

The Health Ministry said that these central parties will visit the districts where new cases of corona virus infection are coming in large numbers. Along with this, these teams will provide assistance to the state for containment, monitoring, investigation and prevention of infection. These teams will also assist in effective therapeutic management of corona virus positive cases.
