Meanwhile, on the remarks of former Union Minister Kapil Sibal, party leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury in Los has slammed him. Adhir Ranjan said, “Speaking without doing anything is not introspection.”

Speaking to reporters, the senior Congress leader said, ‘Kapil Sibal had talked about this earlier. He is very concerned about the Congress and introspection, but we did not see him during the elections in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh or Gujarat.

In fact, Congress leader Kapil Sibal, in an interview to a leading English daily, advocated the need for introspection within the party over the results of the Bihar and Madhya Pradesh by-elections. After this, many party leaders have criticized Kapil Sibal’s statement.

Gehlot also targeted
Earlier, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had also targeted Sibal, saying that the former Union Minister should not have mentioned the internal issue of the party in the media. This has hurt the sentiments of party workers across the country.

In his interview, Sibal had said that he was forced to say his words publicly, as there was no attempt by the party leadership to negotiate. Sibal had said that people do not consider Congress an effective option in Bihar and where the by-elections have taken place.
