Pharmacy recommended to close the facility
Due to the increase in the arrears of pharmacy located in BHU Hospital campus, the pharmacy operator has also written a letter to stop the facilities of injection, medicine etc. in superspeciality. In a letter written to the Vice Chancellor, MS Registrar and other officials 10 days ago, they have been asked to pay the dues. According to the information, Remedesivir injection owes only about two and a half million rupees and apart from this, huge amount of medicines going to the hospital has not been paid. If concrete steps are not taken soon, the problem of patients may increase.
The BHU Superspeciality Complex has free medicines and injections for patients admitted. The bill of arrears which was sent by the pharmacy has been conveyed to other officials including MS. Some people have to be injected from outside. Efforts are being made to make payment at the earliest. Prof. KK Gupta, Kovid Nodal Incharge, BHU
