Officials of the district administration and health department met online on Tuesday to control the spread of corona in the district. In this, District Magistrate Suhas LY discussed the issues related to Corona with the officials. During this time, keeping in mind the increasing corona cases in Delhi, it was decided to do random sampling of people coming from Delhi. The District Magistrate has instructed the Health Department officials to make an antigen test by random sampling of the people coming from the DND and Chilla borders. Instructions have also been given to get the cooperation of police in this work.
Actually, even though people have got concessions unlocked after lockdown, the risk of corona infection in the district has not been avoided. In view of the increasing number of patients in Delhi, the administration has increased vigilance in areas adjacent to Delhi and in the Containment Zone. The number of Corona suspects is also increasing rapidly due to pollution and cold. In view of this, the administration has started paying special attention to the investigation of Corona. All necessary steps are being taken to prevent corona. People are being appealed to follow the Corona Guidelines.
District Magistrate Suhas LY said in the meeting that special tracing needs to be given to the contact tracing of the infected persons. In order to make possible treatment of infected persons in all government and private hospitals in accordance with the protocol of Kovid-19, the administrative and health department officials should ensure continuous action. Health department officials should make arrangements to provide medical treatment to the people who are being tested and who are coming positive. Apart from this, the institutions have been told by the District Magistrate that if he wants to conduct random sampling of the employees then he can tell. Chief Development Officer Anil Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Munindra Nath Upadhyay, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Deepak Ohri and officers of the Administration and Health Department were present in the meeting.
Meeting with directors of Kovid hospitals today
It was decided in the meeting that the District Magistrate will hold an in-depth review at 1 o’clock on Wednesday afternoon by meeting with the directors of all private and government Kovid-Hospitals to prevent the spread of infection in the district and treat the infected as per protocol.
