Former Goa Governor and eminent litterateur Mridula Sinha died on Wednesday. She was 77 years old. Born on 27 November 1942 in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, Mridula Sinha has been associated with the Jana Sangh since the beginning. He was counted among the effective leaders of the BJP. Apart from being a successful politician, she has also been a successful writer. Mridula Sinha was the first female governor of Goa. BJP leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah have expressed deep condolences on his death.
