NTSE Important Dates 2021 Highlights
NCERT organizes the National Talent Search Exam for students studying in Class X with the goal of improving students’ ability. This exam is done every year at two levels; Stage-1, which is carried out at the state level and Stage-2, at the national level.
Important dates for NTSE 2021-22 will be announced by NCERT for aspiring and eligible candidates.
NTSE 2021 Registration Dates- The latest dates to submit the NTSE 2021 application vary from state to state.
NTSE 2021 Exam Dates – Stage 1 of NTSE 2022 will take place in January 2022. Stage 2 will take place in June 2022.
SMART Admission Card 2021-22 dates – The SCERT or education departments will provisionally issue the stage 1 admission card in December 2021, while the NCERT will issue the stage 2 admission card about two to four weeks before the exam.
Students can download the admission card online or can pick it up offline from their schools or from the State Liaison Officer. The NTSE admission card for stage 2 is only assigned to those who are shortlisted for the stage 1 exam.
SMART 2021-22 result Dates- The results of the NTS exam are published by SCERT on their official websites in online mode. The results of stage 1 are published between March and April, while the results of stage 2 are announced in September 2022.
Reservations in the NTSE exam:
- Across the country, around 2000 students receive scholarships with a reserve policy for SC with 15%, ST with 7.5%.
- The reservation policy is also open to candidates who have referral disabilities.
- Some changes are made to the NTSE 2021-22 exam policies, so OBC students will receive 27 percent of additional bookings.
- Students in the 10th class from any of the recognized schools like Sainik school, Kendriya Vidyalaya, etc. are eligible to take the NTSE exam.
- Candidates who are under the age of 18 and not employed can apply.
- Students who have opted for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) can also apply for the NTSE scholarship.
